Question by : How long will my Hemorrhoids last?
So I am 18 and I just got hemorrhoids. They hurt for around two weeks or so. My mom gets them all the time and so did my Grandpa, so it is in my family big time. They didn’t hurt anymore after those two weeks but they are still there in my butthole and it has been a month and two weeks. There is no pain just maybe a little itching at times and sometimes that uncomfortable feeling of just knowing that they are there but nothing serious. I am able to live my life naturally and not worry about them, in fact, I always forget I have them till I go to the bathroom now.
My mom says that once you get them they can heal but sometimes they will just stay there for a long time but not cause pain. Is this normal or no? I always ask to go to a doctor just to get them checked up but she insists I don’t need to and that it’s fine. I am working on my diet and eating a lot of fiber and drinking a lot of water. I cut out fast food and trying to cut down on my soda intake (hard to do!!). Whenever I sit now too, it’s on a nice fluffy pillow except in school. So based on the information I gave you, I’ll ask you again, should I be worrying?

your only 18, you shouldn’t have to deal with that at your age…
i would suggest getting them removed…
are you in school? the surgery should be covered by insurance…

Hi now you have them it is a case of them getting better or worse – to get them better you have to drink water and eat a high fibre diet – do not have fast food rubbish and when you drink alcohol on your nights out make sure you drink water when you get home – alcohol is a dehydrator and it is possible a pile will pop out during this time. So you are still young so eat properly and you will have no more problems.
I am 52 and have just had a haemorrhoid surgery and you dont want to have that. In my younger days these were never talked about and you didnt know how to prevent them now you do so take the advice.
You shouldn’t worry at all! A lot of people have Hemorroids and getting them removed should only be done if you’re suffering from an extreme case! In order to reduce the chances of a flare up, just make sure you stay hydrated as well as diversifying your diet and include a lot of fibers! I see you have been doing that and that is perfect! Change white bread to brown bead, white rice to brown rice, etc. You could also drink a herbal hot tea when you wake up and once you finish eating your meals! Good luck!
Don’t worry, you can cure your hemorrhoids in just 2 days.
For the first treatment, you should lower your intake of processed sugars and foods. Avoid a sedentary lifestyle.
Don’t use any cream, your hemorrhoids can be worst
It depends what degree of hemorrhoids (also known as piles) you have, what your diet it like, extreme cases may need surgery.
If you haven’t already done so go see your doctor, if your mum keeps saying you don’t need to just make an appointment yourself as your 18, she may be right but i would check just for Peace of mind.
As your only 18 I think you should have no problem clearing your Hemorrhoids up. It sounds like your doing everything right. But if it runs in your family it may get worse.
My wife suffers from chronic hemorrhoids, creams didn’t help her so she researched online and came across this report which really helped her
